Absolutely. I primarily use heat-treated (marked 'HT') pallets. This means the wood was seasoned with heat to kill bugs and moisture, rather than using nasty chemicals. It’s perfectly safe for your dining table, office, or garden.

Each piece of timber has its own history. While I can recreate the style of a piece you see in my collection, the grain patterns, old nail holes, and colour tones will be unique to your specific build. You’re getting a one-of-a-kind, not a carbon copy.

The best way is to use the form on my 'Request a quote' page. Give me a rough idea of the size and what you’ll be using it for. I’ll get back to you to discuss the details, and once we’re both happy with the vision, I’ll provide a final quote.

For custom projects, after you've received your quote, I ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit to get start. This covers the sourcing of materials and secures your spot in my build schedule. The remaining 50% is due once the piece is finished and ready for you.

It usually takes between [2–4] weeks depending on how busy the workshop is. I’ll give you an estimated timeframe when we chat, and I’ll keep you updated as the "second life" of your timber begins.

I offer personal delivery across Anglesey and its surrounding area. If you're local, I can bring it right to your door. Alternatively, you’re more than welcome to come to the workshop in Anglesey to collect it yourself!

No. While the wood starts its life as a rugged pallet, I spend a lot of time cleaning, drying, and sanding every board. By the time it reaches your home, it’s smooth to the touch and finished with high-quality oils or waxes, just like any other piece of professional furniture.

Definitely. When we discuss your project, we can talk about finishes—whether you want a natural look that shows off the pine, a darker oak stain, or even a specific paint colour. I'll recommend the best finish based on whether the piece is staying indoors or heading out to the garden.
